Westcomb Kokanee Hoody (Discontinued) - Originally retailed for around 70,000 yen

This is the Westcomb Kokanee Hoody.

This model has already been discontinued, and it's become rare to find, especially in red. I purchased it here about five years ago for around 50,000 yen due to its condition.

* The outer fabric uses PARTEX QUANTUM, which is excellent for water repellency, wind resistance, and durability.
* The insulation is 850-900 fill Canadian Hutterite Down, the highest level of down, harvested only once a year from geese in western Canada. It offers amazing resilience, lightweight warmth, and long-lasting down volume.
* Westcomb's unique patterning is designed for a wide range of motion, and the vertical seams from the chest up prevent thread breakage even during intense movement.
* The neck area and pockets are lined with velour fleece for excellent warmth and quick-drying properties, providing a comfortable fit.

It's a valuable Canadian-made piece, and the front zipper is a riri double zipper. Considering rising material costs and the weak yen, it would likely sell for around 100,000 yen if sold now.

I have too many down garments, and I've only used this once for a winter tent stay after purchasing it used.

While it's generally in good condition, the previous seller repaired and reinforced the pocket zipper attachment with a sewing machine (see photos 7-8). There are also two pinholes + pulls on the front, which have been repaired with 5mm DCF patches (see photo 3).

This is a product from a world-renowned outdoor brand, so the quality is excellent, but due to the repairs mentioned above, I'm offering it at a bargain price. It's a great option for someone who doesn't mind using it heavily in the snow mountains.
