"Reference"
This is a Press Ban, a clap-type camera released by Suzuki Optical Co., Ltd. in 1953 (Showa 28), where the front plate pops out with a spring.
The price at the time of release was 25,000 yen.
The Press Ban's front plate pops out with the force of a spring when the button on the top of the front plate is pressed down, putting it in a shooting position. Turning the focus dial on the upper right side of the body moves the front plate back and forth, and at the same time, the double image of the rangefinder moves, and focus is achieved where they match.
Another charm of this camera is that it is equipped with an Asahi Optical Takumar 75mm F3.5 lens.
The Takumar 75mm F3.5 lens has a 3-group, 4-element Tessar type configuration.
