Based on the iconic Levi's 501 denim, this project involves Yamasawa Press in Adachi, Tokyo, sourcing and remaking discarded Levi's 501 jeans.

The designer personally selects and deconstructs/resizes each piece from a vast pile of denim, totaling approximately 20 tons.

The front features a three-dimensional finish with a rolled seam on the center pleat for a clean vertical line, and an offset design on the upper back.
Slits are added to the back hem, creating a flared silhouette when worn and overlapping with shoes.

As used items are employed, each piece is a unique one-of-a-kind item with varying degrees of fading, damage, and paper patch condition.
With design elements unique to remakes, such as the cut lines and cut-off hems, these jeans are the star of any outfit.

Unisex sizing is available if the size fits.
