New in original box Sterling silver vintage style lab created color change Alexandrite cushion cut ring with lab created white sapphire side stones. Milgrain edging and double prong setting gives it an antique look. The Alexandrite changes from purple-indigo to a deep green-blue teal color- hard to capture in pics but it does have color change. Stone tests in spinel range, which is where Alexandrite typically tests on a presidium thermal tester, and it fluoresces red under UV. Center stone is about 7mm, around 1.9 carats. Side sapphire stones are about .20 cttw.
Lab created gemstones are “chemically, physically and optically identical to those mined underground” according to site Jewelrywise.
