The fabric feels like a wool alpaca blend to me. There are alpaca farms in my area, so it would make sense (to me)

Very nice condition. This is a beautifully made piece and the color is just fabulous. The wool has a slight fuzziness to it, which is why I suspect alpaca. Minor pilling at the underside of the sleeves, but nothing major. I'm unsure of the age of the sweater, I have it listed under vintage for better exposure.
