Small plates by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston - Made in England. Discontinued pattern. These are 6" diameter plates, probably used as butter plates in the set. Each plate has the same pattern, Liverpool Birds. They are a light cream color plates with black design of birds on the front. Very English type design. Each plate has the makers mark printed and an impressed mark on the back, which "I think" is the date it was made. One is easier to make out than the other. One of the plates has a surface crack on the front and back. It is noticeable with the eye, but is a very shallow crack. This same plate also has some wear on the wing of the flying bird. SEE LAST 3 PICTURES. The other plate does not appear to have any issues. Nice collectible set of small Wedgwood plates.
