Vintage original 1954 movie poster lobby cards (each 11” x 14”) for the United Artists swashbuckling action adventure film “Return to Treasure Island” starring Tab Hunter, Dawn Addams & Porter Hall.
This original vintage 1954 “Return to Treasure Island” set of 8 film theater lobby cards (11” x 14”) from the original release of the film is in very good condition. The unrestored cards have minor wear & tear including light edge wear, tape stains on card backs that do not affect images on front of cards & faint title card smudges. Otherwise the lobby cards are in excellent condition with vibrant colors & cool, action-filled images that will display quite well.
The film is about modern-day adventurers (circa 1950s) exploring the desert island from Robert Louis Stevenson's frequently filmed 1883 novel “Treasure Island”. Though Stevenson's story was fictional, it is treated as historical for the purposes of the film's plot.
Hunter was known for his blond hair & clean-cut good looks.
