The government should develop society and sustain a stable environment, in which people can live, dream, aspire, pursue, and fulfill their passion and destinies. They should protect the peoples' voluntary effort to shape civil society and community, by granting equal protection of the law and by upholding principles of justice to all-to the poor and the rich. The government must ensure that the weak and powerless are not exploited by guaranteeing liberty and providing security for everyone. This book is a wakeup call for all Christians. It discourages Christians from standing on the sideline of culture and provides the wisdom, strategy, and framework for Christian cultural engagement, including government and politics. It encourages and inspires Christians to defend Biblical principles, as they blend with government policies and laws.
