A separator for purifying DNA, RNA, or other biomolecules using magnetic beads. Suitable for 96-well PCR plates (non-skirted or semi-skirted), PCR tube strips, and individual PCR tubes. Equipped with powerful neodymium magnets that efficiently draw magnetic beads towards the tube's side, clarifying the solution within a minute. Beads gather near the wall, slightly above the tube's bottom, allowing easy liquid pipetting without bead uptake. To use, insert your PCR plate or tubes into the rack and wait 1-2 minutes for the solution to clear. Compatible with various magnetic bead purification kits, such as Dynabeads and Ampure beads. For manual use, it's great for applications like PCR product purification or DNA strand selection. For liquid handling robots, it's ideal for automated PCR product purification or DNA library processing. It features an SBS footprint, fitting most pipetting robots following the Society for Biomolecular Screening standard.
